Here's what we have for the first draft of the schedule. Links to prepay are on the left column of this page. Others will be added as we get them set up. Prepaid events will not change unless weather or unforeseen circumstances force it. All other events are subject to changes.Please check back regularly until you see the final schedule, which will also be available during the Registration Meet & Greet.There are options for each day. Although it's six months away, we are already busy getting the convention organized! So much to do in one week ... but we're gonna get it done!
I'd like to remind everyone about what and why this annual event was created to begin with. Some of you already know, but for the sake of all the newbies, here's the run down. First, it's a time to get together and meet new and old friends in the one place we love the most! People who have met in the Support Group on facebook and have been "chatting" for quite some time as well as those who have met during previous visits to Cabo get together for a huge family reunion type vacation! That in itself is reason enough for the get together. Another reason is to show support for the local businesses that have always been a part of making our visits to Cabo so enjoyable and memorable! Imagine your stay without all the friends you've made at the hotel, motel, resort, bars, restaurants, vendor markets, etc. How much of a difference have these people made? Time to show then how much we all appreciate their hospitality! Finally, it's a special time to 'Give Back" to the community! When we started the group, we chose to help two of local animal shelters. The Los Cabos Humane Society and El Ranchito Home for Dogs. Shorty thereafter, we added the Los Volunteer Firefighters who do not get near the recognition they deserve and operate with such limited equipment and donations. During the week, we have several "paid" activities as well as "free" activities. We strive to keep everything we do as affordable as possible for everyone attending. Funds are raised with a dinner auction, raffles throughout the week, and direct donations. We'll be updating the events on this website as well as the facebook event page, and the Caboholic Support Group on facebook.
